Web Design I

Web Design 1 is an elective course designed to acquaint students with basic web design skills. From basic HTML code through dynamic and exciting web site design, students are taught the essential skills necessary to conceptualize, create, and publish a professional website to the Internet. Students learn how to implement their web pages to the web through FTP and to add graphics, forms, tables, links, sound, and movement.

Web Design II

Web Design II is an elective course which is designed to expand students’ knowledge of web design with emphasis on maintaining and improving the school’s website using Dreamweaver CS6, Flash, and Photoshop software. The course uses a hands-on approach to creating dynamic web sites using the latest Web technologies. Students learn how to make web pages look aesthetically pleasing and to include elements that make them handicapped accessible.

Honors Web Design

Web Design Honors is an elective course which is designed to expand students’ knowledge of web design with emphasis on maintaining and improving the school’s website using Dreamweaver CS3, Flash and Fireworks software. Students learn how to maintain and update complex web sites, use Javascript and incorporate that into a web page, create surveys that gather data then display results, along with creation of various animated objects and interactive media.​
